A Florida federal judge on Thursday refused to dismiss a proposed class action accusing Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. of unlawfully deducting lunch break time from workers’ pay and withholding overtime compensation — rejecting the beverage giant’s arguments that the plaintiff’s claims weren’t specific enough.
